The location is great, right by the rail station with easy parking, and the staff in the bar were genuinely friendly. The room was clean and had helpful amenities like a kettle and sink. the heater was quite noisy and struggled with the cold, and some furnishings were a bit worn.

Comfortable double rooms are available here with all the basic stuff you need, like heating and a fridge. the price is pretty good too, only £54! Plus, it's in a great spot, super close to a railway station 🚉.

I stayed at Railway Hotel for an overnight trip. Best price on the market for a bed. Room was warm once the heater went on. Had a sink, TV, and an extra blanket which I needed coming from Nth Qld. Polite staff. Centrally located with ample parking. Perfect for the Wilderness train, just 200m from the station. Basic but clean facilities, with a small verandah and chairs.
